About Justice Department
This Department was set up to monitor litigation in which
the State is one of the parties. It is working under the
administrative control of the Principal Secretary (Justice). This
Department also plays an important role to supervise the state
litigation of all other departments of Government of Rajasthan
pending before different courts.
Important activities of Justice Department are:
Litigation data management
Evaluation system improving efficiency
Speedy justice
Access to information
Department’s objective is to use information and
communication technologies to improve the management of cases
and to provide better services to various Government
departments to manage their cases pending in different courts.
The main benefits of the projects are:
On-line monitoring of progress of litigation
Improved efficiency in handling cases
Assessment of performance of Government Advocates

)/ Litigation In charges (

)/ Officer In charges

).
To provide efficient and real time
Monitoring Information

(MIS)
in the judiciary for better decision making.
